iScan PhotoiScanPhotoApp End User License Agreement

This agreement is between you and Apollo Projects LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using iScanPhotoApp, you agree to it. If you don't agree, don't install or use iScanPhotoApp.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use iScanPhotoApp on computers you own or control, for your own and your household's use, under the terms of the license you bought (for example, the number of computers it covers). A trial version may be limited in time or features.
2. What you may not do
Except as the law allows despite this restriction, or as a third-party license allows (see section 6), you may not:
- copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute iScanPhotoApp;
- remove or work around license checks, or share license keys;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble iScanPhotoApp;
- use iScanPhotoApp in a way that breaks the law, including laws about privacy and other people's images.
3. Your photos and data are yours
iScanPhotoApp works on your own computer. Your photos, and everything you add in iScanPhotoApp (names, dates, albums, captions and the catalog), stay yours and stay on your computer. We don't receive them. iScanPhotoApp never changes, moves or deletes your original photos; edits such as restored copies are saved as new files. See the Privacy Policy for details, including the few, optional cases where iScanPhotoApp connects to the internet.
4. Face recognition and other people
iScanPhotoApp can recognize faces in your photos. This creates "faceprints", which some laws treat as biometric data. Face recognition asks before it runs, can be turned off, and its data can be deleted at any time in Settings. You are responsible for using it lawfully, which may include getting permission from people in your photos where the law requires it.
5. Suggestions are only suggestions
Features that suggest names, dates, places, ages or photo repairs use automated estimates and can be wrong. Please check them. Restored or "enhanced" photos are interpretations, not historical records.
6. Third-party components
iScanPhotoApp includes software, AI models and data from other people, used under their own licenses (listed under Legal in the app and in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt). Where those licenses give you rights (for example, the GNU LGPL's right to replace and modify certain libraries, and to reverse engineer for debugging such changes), nothing in this agreement limits those rights.
7. Updates
We may offer updates. Some may be required for iScanPhotoApp to keep working with your system. Updates are covered by this agreement unless they come with new terms.
8. No warranty
iScanPhotoApp is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Keep backups of your photos: iScanPhotoApp does not replace a backup.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from the use of iScanPhotoApp. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for iScanPhotoApp in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Ending this agreement
This license ends if you break this agreement. When it ends, you must stop using iScanPhotoApp and uninstall it. Sections 3, 6, 8, 9 and 11 still apply after it ends.
11. General
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and doesn't take away rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live. If part of it can't be enforced, the rest still applies. This agreement and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about iScanPhotoApp.
